During a download, especially if it's important, you are not immune, a disturbance or a network problem, which can corrupt the file you download. Data can then be damaged and prevent software installation or its operation.
So you can, with the checksum provided by the manufacturer, verify that the file you downloaded is intact and flawless.
CompareBinFiles compares the contents of two files. For each file, it calculates the fingerprint (checksum) from the content. This signature is unique for each file. When the two signatures are calculated, an indication appears on the screen (red or green light) to quickly identify if the two files are exactly the same or not.
CompareBinFiles is capable of generating signatures quickly, even for large files (ISO, videos, etc.).
