Simple hex viewer designed for Windows 8. A standalone application opens files in read-only mode. Performs find, selection, copying to clipboard.
It is safe to let anybody use HexLook on your computer, because the files are opened in a read-only mode.
(I find it convenient to put the shortcut of HexLook into SendTo folder)
The program capabilities:
can open quite a big files (gigabyte or more);
go to the particular address in a file;
find a sequence of bytes (or a Unicode text)
select a range of bytes within file
copy the selection to the clipboard in several formats
The program is optimized to quickly cancel the lengthy operations (search and copying in big files).
