This application,"cedarcode", monitors states of your hard drive for home exercise equipment and other product promotion. Cedarcode is a small program that reproduces the hard drive LED activity on your desktop. We look at the screen, so, naturally HD LEDs should be located there too. Your regular drive LED on your PC only has 1 LED, meaning you'd never know if there was activity on another partition or physical drive. If your laptop or desktop PC has a defective LED you won't know about any activity. Also I don't really want to break my neck trying to see activity of the HD located underneath the table in the dark! Cedarcode monitors Physical SATA and IDE HD drives; Physical USB removable SATA / IDE HD drives. It does NOT monitor CD-ROM / DVD-ROM; Removable USB Memory Sticks/cards/etc.; Network Drives; Floppy Drives; SUBST'd "?:\" drive letters.
